Who we are

YourEventMarketplace is a marketplace directory site run by YourEventMarketplace, LLC (“YourEventMarketplace,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” We provide you access to our website located at https://youreventmarketplace.com/ (the “Site”) and together with the Site, the “Services”). The Services are subject to the following privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”), which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

In addition, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the applicable licenses for any media that you upload to the site. YourEventMarketplace, LLC will remove any media deemed owned by another entity.

Cookies

We collect information using “cookie” technology. Cookies are small pieces of data that a website stores on your computer or mobile device hard drive so that your computer will “remember” information about your visit. We use both 1st and 3rd-party session cookies and persistent cookies.

Session Cookies: We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser.

Persistent Cookies: A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time or until you delete them. You can remove persistent cookies by following the directions provided by your specific web browser.

We utilize a log-in portal on our Site, where persistent cookies can be used to store your passwords so that you don’t have to enter it more than once. Persistent cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our visitors to personalize the experience on our Site.

In some cases, we may associate information that you have provided to us (i.e. your email address) with the cookies that we use. This allows us to understand your engagement with other content related to our Site(i.e. email open rates, click-throughs).

If you do not want cookies placed on your hard drive, you may be able to turn that feature off on your computer or mobile device. Please consult your specific browser documentation for information on how to do block and delete cookies. Please note, if you decide not to accept cookies from us, certain aspects of the Site may not function properly or as intended.

Embedded content and links from other websites

Listings and articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, case studies, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Since this Site is a directory site, listings will contain links to third-party websites (“External Sites”). YourEventMarketplace, LLC has no control over the privacy practices or the content of any such External Sites. As such, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of such External Sites. You should check the applicable privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any such External Sites.

Who we share your data with

If you as a consumer decide to submit an RFP for event-related services, you give us permission to share your contact information with Vendors to respond to your RFP. Vendors may then provide Consumers information about the products and services they offer.

  • We will never sell your information to a third-party company.

Third-Party Analytics Providers

We use one or more third–party analytics services to evaluate your use of the Site. These third parties use cookies and other technologies to help collect, analyze, and provide us with reports or other data.

By accessing and using the Site, you consent to the processing of data about you by these analytics providers in the manner and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
